在疫情防控的特殊时期,我校积极开展线上教学工作。教师们第一时间参与到线上教学工作中来。教学管理人员、教师、学生戮力同心将疫情造成的负面影响降到最低。为有效提升我校线上教学质量,展示教师风采,共享线上教学经验,激励教师线上教学积极性,我校组织了以“云端花开 邀君共赏”为主题的线上教学课程成果展。
一、《实用英语》课程简介
《实用英语》是我校大一学生必修的公共英语基础课程。根据《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》,本课程的目标就是不仅使学生掌握实用英语基础知识和技能,还要利用多元化的教学手段,全方位帮助学生拓展知识范围,使学生学会根据具体情况,灵活应用,从而为未来的英语学习和就业打下良好坚实的基础。
本课程注重培养学生扎实的英语基本功,包括听、说、读、写和译的基本能力;注重促进学生各项英语语言技能的全面发展,培养学生的语言交际能力,切实做到能连续、流畅的与人沟通交流,解决生活和工作中遇到的有关英语的基本问题,同时兼顾培养学生对中西文化差异的学习和了解。
二、本课程线上教学特色及亮点总结
我校英语教研室授课教师在线上的教学过程中,不仅利用网络教学平台,还借助了微信群、朋友圈、短视频等功能,设计了多样化的互动交流活动,线上课堂教学与学生的学习更加生动、灵活、高效,以丰富多彩的形式,来展现英语课堂效果。
以第4单元为例,白莉老师的学生针对某一知识点展开了学习和思考。

如在本次阅读课中,教师结合课文内容播放了一段教学微视频,布置线下任务让学生就阅读材料中观点性的话题结合视频内容动手做PPT,总结自己对“什么是真正友谊”的看法与感悟,各班学生提交的作业中,不乏优秀作品,这些作品既可以在线上授课中进行作业优秀案例分享,丰富教学资源,又可以有效的培养学生的思辨能力,教师自身也可以寓教于学。不足之处是教师需要花一定的时间进行案例甄选,如果时间允许,能让学生参与互评、修改与甄选的过程可能教学效果更好!

结合本单元的主题和教学内容实际,利用学生的自身情况和经历,自然、真实地与学生进行人生、择友、价值观和学会相处的对话和讨论,从教学理念上来说,客观、务实地诠释了英语课程思政的理念;从教学效果上来说,完美地完成了学习任务。
实用英语这门课有着完整的体系,注重听、说、读、写、译等方面全面学习,所以杨庆峰老师提倡沉浸式英文教学。用第一人称视角,对照式实景练习,在生活片段中,自然而然地浮现英语的听说;在课堂精细讲授中锤炼读写。疫情并不能阻隔学习的进程,师生将线下与线上课堂融合,对课上知识点按要求,并根据自身基础,有针对性地记录整理练习或背诵,并实时根据当下所学操练英语对话,各方位体验英语的实用性。

微信等网络社交媒体,不仅可以为学习者创造一个轻松的表达氛围、减少交流的压力,还可以让他们通过分享获得更多的关注和反馈。此举亦打破传统课堂的束缚,为语言学习增添了乐趣,激发学生投入更多的精力。如此显著提升了学生的自我效能感。学生还可以利用这些社交媒体,上传和下载学习资料和任务,分享知识,也方便教师评估和反馈。
三、线上教学思考
线上授课是一种多模态化的教学模式,是疫情下网络教学的重要趋势,使用多种感官对多样化的符号资源如语言、图像、视频、动作等交际互动的教学模式,能够很大程度地提高学生学习的积极性和参与兴趣。通过线上实际教学显示学生的课中参与度与课后的动手能力与产出结果确实令人惊喜。
我们教研室老师不仅精心设计新颖的教学活动,敬业精神也值得尊敬,江玲老师的右脚不小心扭伤了,肿胀十分严重,但是江老师从未请假,脚只能搭在旁边的凳子上,一直坚持上课,江老师敬业的精神值得我们大家学习。
线上网络教学不同于线下的课堂教学,虽然按照课表上课,时间空间上可以做到统一,但是教师与学生的目光交流更具“远距离”,难以实现课堂上“察言观色”后的“心领神会”。这就要求教师对于远程教学的把握灵活多变:是弹幕纷呈,还是奖励性问题的设置,或是启发过程中的师生互动,甚至提前预约的教师与某学生的交流式的“双簧”等等,都需要结合课程内容、专业特点、教师个性特点等等,做多元化处理,确保教学内容“贴近”学生,我们英语教研室的老师们,针对以上内容,均提供了多元解决方案,疫情之下“停课不停学”,师生相聚云端。
